Impact Applications design, develop and support enterprise software applications for business, with an emphasis on mobile data solutions. Breaking with the traditional client-server model, we utilise web-based technologies to deliver ‘zero client’, real-time solutions which deliver a rapid return-on-investment.
What we do
Our Consultancy Services Division develops live solutions for real clients with real problems. Once they are proven in the real world, we select those which our research tells us are of general application. We then develop these into fully supported, generic products.
From our award-winning operations management system for managing field service engineers – impactRESPONSE - to our integrated ecommerce solution – impactCOMMERCE - each product features the same hallmarks of value, control and mobility.
All our solutions are unique in their class due to ‘zero-client’ technology, requiring no additional software installation Instead, data is accessed over a secure web-browser which takes advantage of always-on networks to deliver real time information and services. This innovative technology also removes the need for the costly installations and on-going upgrade and support costs associated with traditional ‘thin client’ solutions.
Other recent projects successfully completed by our Consultancy Services Division include a ‘just in time’ mobile bar-code scanning solution for automotive components distributor, Infast (now Anixter Automotive), and a mobile installation manager for in-car electronics experts, JDM Products.
